Heather Morris, from the musical hit show Glee, has finally admitted to having a boob job.

Despite telling the press earlier this year that she owed her curvy figure to underwear and not cosmetic surgery, she has now admitted in Fitness magazine that she did in fact have a breast augmentation.

Morris, who plays the ditsy cheerleader Brittany on the FOX show, said the breast implants were something that she had wanted when she was younger.

The blonde star had the implants for about a year before deciding to have them  removed because she felt they interfered with her ability to dance.

The Liquid Gold Center stores fat removed from patients during liposuction and freezes it potentially for the patient’s lifetime, thereby allowing it to be used at a later date for such procedures as filling out wrinkles and increasing the size of breasts.

The ‘fat bank’ uses a patented process which adds ‘protectants’ to the harvested fat before slowly freezing it to minus 192 celsius. To store approximately a coffee cup size amount of fat costs $900 for the first year of storage and $200 the following year.

Owner of the centre, Dr Jeffrey Hartog, states that the benefits of doing this are that the patient only has to go under general anaesthetic once. Speaking to the Orlando Sentinel newspaper, Dr  Hartog said: “Having their fat in the bank would allow patients to draw on it later, when they want to plump up body parts that have succumbed to age.”

However, others are more sceptical. Dr Daniel Del Vecchio, a plastic surgeon at Massachusetts General Hospital, who has studied fat transfer on animals, believes that frozen fat does not hold up as well as fresh fat.

Former Sugarbabes singer, Mutya Buena, and Hollyoaks, Carley Stenson, reveal in this month’s Heat magazine how cosmetic surgery has given them an added boost of confidence in a body conscious industry.

For Mutya, 25, her forage into cosmetic surgery included a breast enlargement, which increased her bust size to an E cup, and buttock implants for, which she paid £5000. A common procedure in the US and Brazil, the latter are used to give the behind a perkier appearance, a result Mutya is thrilled with.

Carley instead elected for rhinoplasty. Years of cruel jibes about her nose at school had left her feeling self-conscious about it. She says she feels “A lot more confident now”, but adds that she isn’t sure whether she will have any more cosmetic surgery.

X Factor judge, Louis Walsh has made a startling claim to The Star magazine by revealing Simon Cowell has had more cosmetic surgery than him.

Having had his own cosmetic eye surgery last year, Walsh insists he still trails behind the industry mogul who, he jokes, has had so much work done he’s unsure what is real anymore.

The Irish music manager said: “I got my eyes done and I admitted it, unlike Simon! I don’t think I will get any more work done yet. But Simon has booked in for his usual surgeries.”

Apart from the regular botox shots and cosmetic dentistry which Cowell has admitted to it’s unclear what other cosmetic surgeries Walsh could be referring to but watch this space!

For men across the UK the latest James Bond has a lot to answer for, as super buff Daniel Craig and his form hugging Speedos are thought to be the reason behind a sudden surge in male cosmetic surgery.

Infact The Harley Medical Group have reported a whopping 24 per cent rise in men having tummy tuck surgery, desperate to get rid of what has been termed the ‘Speedo Sag’.

Unlike the baggy-style swimwear and bermuda shorts of old, Speedos are notoriously unforgiven and this change in fashion could be having an effect on how men view themselves.

While men will generally try other, more traditional methods to acheive the body beautiful, such as the gym and diet, cosmetic surgery for men is being used to eliminate stubborn areas or fat or loose skin that just will not go on their own accord.

Other cosmetic procedures proving popular with men are gynecomastia and liposuction.

Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe has been showing off her buff new bod after undergoing a recent bout of liposuction.

On holiday recently and at launch party last night for Movida nightclub, the curvy star, who plays Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 show, looked pert and trim after paying out £2000 for liposuction surgery to her bottom and thighs.

The 26-year-old actress, who already boasted a slim size 10/12 figure, dropped a full dress size following the fat removal surgery to become a stunning size 6/8.

Jennifer had previously stated that she felt self-conscious about her derriere , saying she had a “love-hate relationship” with her posterior which “wobbles and sticks out”. She is quoted as saying in The Daily Mail that she is: “amazed at the results after just one operation. I feel like I’ve dropped a dress size – and I have!”

A third of overweight women said they would pile on the pounds to push them into the morbidly obese category needed for inclusion, if it meant receiving free weight loss surgery.

Rather than lose the weight naturally, 32 percent of women polled in the survey by the Good Surgeon Guide said they would overeat in order to have access to slimming procedures, such as the gastric balloon and the gastric band, and that 1 in 10 had already asked their GP.

Other findings from the survey of 1,216 women accross the UK revealed that 28 percent would claim depression to get a rhinoplasty on the NHS, while over 1 in 5 would ask for a free breast lift after breast feeding to restore body confidence. Six in ten women said that they would undertake some form of cosmetic surgery if it was paid for by the national health service.

The same survey also showed that 43 percent of mothers would be willing for their children to undergo plastic surgery for treatments such as ear pinning if it was available to prevent bullying.

Stars who have famously undergone weight loss surgery are Fern Cotton, Randy Jackson and Roseanne Barr.

After sextuplets, you’d think it’d be a no brainer that some cosmetic surgery may be needed to restore the figure. However the US reality tv star Kate Gosselin, who gave birth to sexputlets in 2004, is playing down rumours that she has had a breast enlargement.

Earlier in the year she was said to have poo pooed the idea of cosmetic surgery, claiming: ” Plastic surgery? Please. Who has time to even think about it, let alone do it?” Nonetheless her breasts do appear to have grown notiably since then.

There is also the fact that she underwent a free tummy tuck shortly after giving birth, which certainly classifies as cosmetic surgery. Her husband was given free hair plugs at the same time.

The couple became household names in the US after their show, “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ which refers to the number of children the pair have, became a hit.

With a gaggle of family and friends in toe, the blushing bride-to-be, Katie Price, descended on a botox clinic in Milton Keynes for a hen do with a difference.

The glamour girl and 15 of her closest peers, including daughter Princess and mum Amy, travelled to the clinic for a day of pampering, including a round of botox.

Known for her love of cosmetic surgery and non surgical beauty treatments, which have included several breast augmentations, the Nilam Patel beauty and botox clinic seemed a fitting place for Price to celebrate the upcoming renewal of her vowels to husband cage-fighter Alex Reid.

Dressed in matching black t-shirts with the words “Kate’s Hen Do” emblazoned accross the front in diamantes, the group posed for photos before going in to be beautified.

An ex-Citibank employee who is claiming she was unfairly fired from her job because her assets were too distracting to male employees, actually underwent plastic surgery for just that reason.

In a series of TV interviews which have made Debrahlee Lorenzana a mini-celeb in the US, she complained that her curvaceous figure meant she had always suffered sexual harrassment.

However, it has been discovered that Lorenzana took part in a documentary for the Discovery Health Channel called “Plastic Surgery New York Style” back in 2003, where she discussed with a cosmetic surgeon undergoing her fourth breast augmentation saying she wanted to be “t*ts on a stick” and look like a Playboy playmate.

As well as breast implants, Lorenzana also underwent liposuction and a tummy tuck. Her lawyers are stating that her love of cosmetic surgery has no bearing on the case though.

Citibank are adamant that her sacking was purely down to her poor performance and not her looks.
