Former Sugarbabes singer, Mutya Buena, and Hollyoaks, Carley Stenson, reveal in this month’s Heat magazine how cosmetic surgery has given them an added boost of confidence in a body conscious industry.
For Mutya, 25, her forage into cosmetic surgery included a breast enlargement, which increased her bust size to an E cup, and buttock implants for, which she paid £5000. A common procedure in the US and Brazil, the latter are used to give the behind a perkier appearance, a result Mutya is thrilled with.
Carley instead elected for rhinoplasty. Years of cruel jibes about her nose at school had left her feeling self-conscious about it. She says she feels “A lot more confident now”, but adds that she isn’t sure whether she will have any more cosmetic surgery.
